Miller's ongoing inabil ity to control the puck cost Vancouver at the end of the first period when Rakell scored on the power play with 2 seconds remaining. NFL Recap: Baltimore Ravens (33) vs. Cleveland Browns (27) - 11/30/2015

NFL Recap: Baltimore Ravens (33) vs. Cleveland Browns (27) - Date: 11/30/2015 The Ravens finally got a break that didn't mean they were losing another player. Will Hill returned a blocked field goal 64 yards for a touchdown as time expired, giving Baltimore a 33-27 win Monday night over the luckless Cleveland Browns, who lost their sixth straight game along with starting quarterback Josh McCown. Sports Handicapper Tracker. Travis Coons lined up to kick a potential game-winning 51-yard field goal with 3 seconds to go for the Browns (2-9), but it was deflected by defensive end Brent Urban, who was playing his first NFL game for the injury-riddled Ravens (4-7). Hill scooped it up and rumbled down the left sideline for an improbable win, stunning a Cleveland crowd which moments earlier was ready to celebrate. Ravens quarterback Matt Schaub, making his first start since 2013, threw two touchdown passes. McCown injured his collarbone in the fourth quarter and was replaced by Austin Davis, whose 42-yard TD pass to Travis Benjamin tied it with 1:47 remaining. Profitable NFL Football Handicappers. The Browns appeared to be in position to pull out a comeback win after cornerback Tramon Williams intercepted Schaub with 50 seconds left at Baltimore's 46. But as Cleveland attempted to get closer for Coons, Davis wasted valuable time because of a communication issue with the sideline and the QB couldn't get out of bounds after a scramble, forcing the Browns to call a timeout. But as Coons, who was 18 for 18 this season, lined up for his long kick, it appeared the Ravens were on their way to another close loss. All 11 of Baltimore's games have been decided by less than eight points, and the Ravens have been on the wrong side of most of those. However , Urban got some penetration on the line and got his hand on Coon's low kick. Hill took it from there, finding his way to the end zone. Schaub finished 20 of 34 for 232 yards and his first TDs since Dec. 23, 2013. McCown, who has played hurt most of this season and was only starting because Johnny Manziel got benched, was 21 of 38 for 212 yards and a TD. Cleveland linebacker Karlos Dansby picked off Schaub and returned it 52 yards for a TD in the third quarter to give the Browns a 20-17 lead, the first time they've been ahead in a game since the first half against Arizona on Nov. 1 - a span of more than 173 minutes. But they weren't up for long as Schaub countered with his second scoring pass, a 15-yarder to Kamar Aiken to put the Ravens ahead 24-20 with 5:30 left in the third quarter. McCown took several hard shots in the second half and went to the sideline in obvious pain. He returned to the field, but dropped to the ground after an incompletion, forcing the B rowns to turn to Davis, who made eight starts for St. Louis last season but was getting his first action for Cleveland. Manziel was benched by Browns coach Mike Pettine after the second-year quarterback broke a promise by going out and partying during Cleveland's bye week. McCown had missed the past two games with injured ribs, and was expecting to be a backup for the final six games before a video of Manziel holding a champagne bottle and rapping vulgar lyrics surfaced while the team was off. With Manziel on the sideline and both teams struggling this season, the game was a tough sell to a national TV audience and thousands of Browns fans stayed home as well. A group of disgusted Clevelanders arrived at FirstEnergy Stadium wearing brown paper bags over their heads as another season unravels on the shores of Lake Erie. For others, it's time to shift attention to the Cavaliers and NBA superstar LeBron James. A bed sheet hanging in one end zone read: ''We Still Have LeBron.'' ---Online: and

''It makes other teams want to beat us that much more, to be the first team to end the streak. WE have guys that embrace pressure and they seem to play better and are more sharp the more pressure and the bigger the stage.'' MATCHING UPThe Jazz are one of the bigger teams in the league with 7-foot-1 Rudy Gobert and 6-10 Derrick Favors in the starting lineup. Snyder said there are a lot of variables in matching up - a hot shooter, a matchup they like, foul trouble. NBA Recap: Boston Celtics (105) vs. Miami Heat (95) - Date: 11/30/2015 Whenever Boston's lead looked shaky in the final minutes, Avery Bradley had an answer. And just like that, the Celtics' three-game road slide is over. Bradley scored 25 points and forced a big turnover when he knocked away a pass by Dwyane Wade with a minute remaining, Jared Sullinger had 17 points and the Celtics put all five starters in double figures on the way to beating the Miami Heat 105-95 Monday night. Isaiah Thomas scored 16 while fellow starters Jae Crowder and Amir Johnson each added 13 for Boston. Evan Turner had 13 off the bench.'' I felt like we came out from the beginning of the game and had a defensive mindset,'' Bradley said. He had enough of an offensive mindset when Boston needed as well. Bradley has scored at least 25 points in three of his last six outings.'' He hit huge shots when we needed them most,'&# 39; Celtics coach Brad Stevens said. Wade scored 30 for Miami, which cut a 14-point deficit to one in the fourth quarter but never led after halftime. Chris Bosh played through an illness to add 21 points for the Heat, who got 10 from Tyler Johnson off the bench. Miami made it a one-possession game on five separate occasions in the final 14 minutes, and Boston scored on its ensuing trip every time. Sports Handicapper King. The first three of those were all on jumpers by Bradley, two of them being 3-pointers, and Wade lamented afterward that Miami couldn't get stops at the biggest moments.'' They played their game from the start,'' Wade said. ''They were the desperate team tonight.'' Boston was up 94-83 midway through the fourth when Wade got on a tear, scoring eight consecutive Miami points and getting the Heat within five on a layup with 3:24 left. Bosh scored with 2:02 left to cut Boston's lead to 96-93, but Crowder made two free throws to give the Celtics a bit of breathing room and the Heat never got any closer again.'' We had some stretches where we were able to change the momentum, but for the most part those skirmishes, loose balls, they were able to impact those more consistently,'' Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. ''In the end, even though our offense was inconsistent down the stretch, those plays really impacted the momentum, the will and feel of the game.'' TIP-INSCeltics: Boston has won at least one game at Miami in nine of the last 10 seasons. ... Profitable NBA Basketball Handicappers. Thomas has reached double figures in scoring in all 18 of Boston's games this season, and in his last 24 regular-season games going back to last season. ... Komarov opened the scoring with his team-leading and career high ninth goal of the season on the power play 6:45 into the first. After a defensive breakdown by Edmonton's penalty killers, van Riemsdyk found Komarov alone between the faceoff circles. Lindberg doubled the Rangers advantage with 1:37 left, whipping a one-timer past Ward from the slot off a cross-ice feed from Dan Boyle. Jordan Stall put Carolina on the board at 1:40 from the slot, deflecting a backhand feed from Andrej Nestrasil. Ward gave it right back. Kreider beat him from a sharp angle at the bottom of the right circle only 44 seconds later. In frustration and anger, Ward smashed his goal stick against the right post. NCAAB Recap: Illinois State (63) vs. Kentucky (75) - 11/30/2015

NCAAB Recap: Illinois State (63) vs. Kentucky (75) - Date: 11/30/2015 Isaiah Briscoe scored 18 points, Jamal Murray added 16 and No. 1 Kentucky overcame a sluggish first half to pull away from Illinois State 75-63 on Monday night. Outhustled on both ends of the court by the athletic Redbirds through 20 minutes while adjusting to playing without injured starting point guard Tyler Ulis (elbow), the Wildcats (7-0) emerged from halftime more physical and used that energy to gain some breathing room. Outrebounded 20-12 in the first half, Kentucky beat Illinois State (3-5) 27-17 on the boards and held the Redbirds to 29 percent shooting in the second half. Marcus Lee added 13 points and 12 rebounds for his second double-double in five games while Alex Poythress had 11 points for Kentucky, which shot 43 percent. Good Return on Investment. The Wildc ats face UCLA on Thursday in a matchup of programs with 19 combined NCAA championships. DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell scored 22 points for the Redbirds, Roland Griffin and Mikyle McIntosh both had 14 points. Nearly a week after battling No. 2 Maryland close before losing 77-66, the Redbirds were just as determined against the nation's top-ranked team. Kentucky coach John Calipari was worried that would happen, especially with Ulis sidelined by the elbow injury sustained against South Florida. Calipari insisted Ulis' injury wasn't serious but announced before the game via Twitter that the 5-foot-9 sophomore would sit out to ensure he's 100 percent, especially with the big matchup coming at Pauley Pavilion. But his concerns about how the Wildcats would respond without their floor general were well-founded in a sluggish start resulting in a 31-all halftime tie. Despite Briscoe, Murray and Charles Matthews having ball-handling skills, all three struggled against Illinoi s State's pesky zone and man-to-man defenses and combined for all nine first-half turnovers leading to 10 points. Profitable NCAAB College Basketball Handicappers. The Wildcats were just as tentative on offense, showing little motion and causing Calipari to scream and stomp several times as Kentucky often played deep into the shot clock. Lee's free throw with 10:42 left provided Kentucky's first lead at 16-15 but the Wildcats couldn't pull away from the athletic Redbirds, who outrebounded them and shut them out 11-0 in second-chance points through 20 minutes. Kentucky hurt itself with 10-of-20 free throw shooting. Professional Sports Handicappers. The second half was slightly better as Kentucky turned the ball over just six times and began to take control in the paint and remain unbeaten even on an off night. NCAAB College Basketball Handicappers. TIP-INSIllinois State: Monday's game was the Redbirds' second against the nation's top-ranked team and first since losing 97-81 to DePaul in March 1980. ... Illinois State fell to 8-2 against current SEC teams. Kentucky: Freshman Skal Labissiere had two points and two rebounds in 16 minutes. ... Matthews fell hard on his back taking a shot in the lane in the second half but got up and walked it off before making one of two free throws. UP NEXT:Illinois State hosts UAB on Saturday. With Varlamov on the bench, Holden cut the Islanders' lead to 4-3 with 3:34 left, but Strome scored an empty-net goal with 47.9 seconds left. Basketball Handicappers. The Avalanche nearly scored off the opening faceoff, but Greiss robbed Matt Duchene with a left-pad save. Colorado took the lead 10:20 in. After Greiss stopped Comeau's original shot, the winger circled the net and flipped the rebound over Greiss. NHL Hockey Handicappers. The goalie unwittingly knocked it in with the top of his stick. Sports Picks. The Avalanche limited the Islanders to seven first-period shots and very nearly carried a one-goal advantage into the first intermission. But Cody McLeod and Gabriel Landeskog each took penalties in the final minute, and Okposo buried a snap shot with 1.4 seconds left. G rabovski gave the Islanders their first lead at 6:31 of the second. But just 41 seconds later, Iginla's seeing-eye wrist shot confounded Greiss and tied the game 2-2. Free NHL Hockey Picks. The goal was Iginla's 597th of his career, leaving him four shy of Jari Kurri for 18th place on the career list. The Islanders peppered the Avalanche cage, aiming to break the tie late in the second period, but Varlamov was outstanding. The Avs goalie has struggled at points this season but stopped 13 of 14 in the frame as the Islanders recorded seven of the period's final eight shots after Iginla's goal. NOTES: Iginla's goal was his eighth this season but only his second in Colorado's last 12 games. ... Strome also had the primary assist on Grabovski's goal and has four points in three games since being recalled from Bridgeport of the AHL. ... Islanders forward Josh Bailey played in his 500 th NHL game. ... The Islanders will host the Rangers on Wednesday night in the rivalry's first-ever matchup in Brooklyn.

Sparks had a 1.90 GAA in the minors." We got to find a way to win a game," Babcock told the NHL's official website. "He's played well in the minors. Gets his opportunity." Leon Draisaitl and Lauri Korpikoski scored first-period goals for Edmonton, which blew a two-goal advantage before Matt Hendricks and Jordan Eberle converted in the shootout.'' It feels good to win,'' McLellan said. ''I thought we had a good effort from a lot of players and the guys got a good reward. We buckled down when we needed to.'' Taylor Hall assisted on Draisaitl's goal to end his three-game drought without a point. He leads the club with nine goals and 25 points. Edmonton continues to play without injured rookie Connor McDavid, who is out with a fractured clavicle and is rehabbing in the Toronto area where he hails from. He will meet up with his club Monday. Oilers defenseman Justin Schultz returned to the lineup for the first time since Oct. 25 on Saturday after being out with a back injury." I felt good, obviously the first c ouple of shifts were a little fast, I don't remember it being this fast, but once I got those under my belt it was good and I thought I got better as the game went on," Schultz said.

NBA Preview: San Antonio Spurs vs. Chicago Bulls - 11/30/2015 - 8:00 PM EST

NBA Preview: San Antonio Spurs vs. Chicago Bulls - Date: 11/30/2015 Time: 08:00 P.M. EST Venue: United Center   The San Antonio Spurs are off to the second-best start in the NBA, thanks in large part to them ranking first in the league in scoring defense. Make Money Betting Sports. That could be spell trouble for the Chicago Bulls, who find themselves in an offensive slump going into Monday night's meeting at the United Center. At 14-3, the Spurs trail only undefeated Golden State, and they've won 11 of 12. Profitable NBA Basketball Handicappers. They're giving up an 89.7 points per game and have held six of their last nine opponents to 84 or fewer, while accomplishing that feat eight times on the season - twice more than they did in 2014-15. Best Free Sports Picks. The addition of LaMarcus gives us more size. He has quick feet to switch, to get in a better position quicker." Chicago (9-5) followed a four-game winning streak by dropping two of three to end a four-game trip. Free NBA Basketball Picks. The Bulls shot 37.6 percent in those three contests and were held to fewer than 95 points in each. They shot a season-low 34.8 percent in Friday's 104-92 loss to Indiana, going 21 for 66 on 2-point shots. Nikola Mirotic scored a season-high 25 points but the other starters were a combined 14 of 49 from the field. Chicago was also outscored 21-5 on the fast break and has given up a 73-29 advantage in transition in the last four contests." Just have to keep fighting to get better; just didn't play well," coach Fred Hoiberg told the team's official website. "Especially on the offensive end as a team. Movement, get the ball swung; we're doing it in practice, getting the ball swung. We've got to carry it over to the games." Derrick Rose has shot 11 for 36 in two games since sitting out two with a sprained ankle." Oh, my God, I felt like I played like (crap) tonight," he said. "I don't know what the case might be. Thanksgiving, I don't know. It's a hard one losing like that in here, but the energy level, my energy, wasn't up. It is a tough game when you come back from the West Coast, but we can't use that as an excuse." Pau Gasol is also struggling, shooting 35.8 percent over his last five games, though he's still been a factor on the glass with 56 rebounds in that span. Tony Parker is in the midst of an extremely efficient stretch for the Spurs, shooting 68.0 percent over his last five games. He's made 53.6 percent in his last eight meetings with Chicago. San Antonio has won four of the last six meetings, while the Bulls are 5-1 at home this season.

NBA Preview: Portland Trail Blazers vs. Los Angeles Clippers - 11/30/2015 - 10:30 PM EST

NBA Preview: Portland Trail Blazers vs. Los Angeles Clippers - Date: 11/30/2015 Time: 10:30 P.M. EST Venue: STAPLES Center   Damian Lillard and C. J. McCollum are emerging as a major one-two punch for the Portland Trail Blazers. Leading Handicappers. The Los Angeles Clippers are in the fifth season of their own with Chris Paul and Blake Griffin. Lillard and McCollum look to build on one of their best scoring displays of the season Monday night when the Trail Blazers visit the Clippers. Lillard is the league's eighth-leading scorer at 25.4 points per game, while McCollum is 20th with a 20.4-point average that's a major increase from his 6.8 last season. Profitable NBA Basketball Handicappers. The duo was instrumental to Saturday's 108-96 win over the Lakers as Portland (7-10) won for the third time in four tries following a seven-game slide. McCollum scored the first nine points before finishing with 28 and hitting 12 of 20 from the floor, while Lillard had 29 points with four of his seven assists coming on baskets by his fellow guard." I think we all understand that C. J. is a guy that can run off a bunch of points at a time," Lillard said. "At the start of the game, we saw him hit that first one and so I tried to just keep calling plays and in transition keep finding him." Paul and Griffin have shared a similar relationship for four-plus seasons as the backbone of the Clippers (9-8). Griffin's 25.1 points per game put him just behind Lillard, while Paul's averages - 17.3 points and 8.4 assists - are down but still solid. Like their Portland counterparts, Griffin and Paul were vital to their team's last performance, Sunday's 107-99 win over Minnesota. Griffin scored 26 points with eight rebounds and eight assists, while Paul had 20 points and nine assists with four going to Griffin. Los Angeles has won three of four games after losing seven of its prior nine. NFL Handicappers. The Clippers shot 52.0 percent against the Timberwolves, their best performance since making 52.5 in their season-opening win at Sacramento." It's not always going to be pretty, but we have to pile up wins - especially in this Western Conference," Paul said. "The team executed pretty well. First and foremost, we made shots." The Clippers had trouble doing that from 3-point range at Portland on Nov. 20, making just 7 of 24 while falling 102-91. Paul shot 4 of 14 from the floor while finishing with 11 points and eight assists while Griffin had 21 and seven with seven boards. Paul averaged 30.5 points and 12.5 assists while Los Angeles took three of four meetings with the Trail Blazers last season. Lillard has scored 18.0 points per game over the past five meetings with the Clippers. However, he had 27 in the most recent, while McCollum and Mason Plumlee added 18 each. Los Angeles&# 39; J. J. Redick struggled in that meeting, scoring seven points while missing 9 of 12 field-goal attempts in his return from a three-game absence due to back spasms. NBA Basketball Handicappers. The guard had totaled 51 points on 20 of 47 from the floor over the two previous meetings with the Blazers. He's scored 38 in the last two games - both wins.

NHL Preview: Vancouver Canucks vs. Anaheim Ducks - Date: 11/30/2015 Time: 10:00 P.M. EST Venue: Honda Center   The Anaheim Ducks and Vancouver Canucks have been fixtures in the postseason in recent years, but neither team has played like a playoff team in 2015-16. Anaheim looks to avoid a third straight loss Monday night when it hosts Vancouver, which has dropped six of eight. Winning Sports Picks Who You Should Follow. The Ducks (8-11-5) have reached the playoffs in eight of the last 10 years, while the Canucks (9-8-7) have gotten there in 11 of 14. Anaheim has continued to struggle this season after posting the best record in the Western Conference last season, though, going 3-4-3 in its last 10. Vancouver, meanwhile, has lost nine of 12. Profitable NHL Hockey Handicappers. The Ducks lost 3-2 in overtime to Chicago on Friday, their second loss beyond regulation to the Blackhawks this season. Anaheim fell to Chicago in the Western Conference finals and has lost 10 of 14 overall meetings." This isn't about Chicago," said center Andrew Cogliano, who scored his third goal. "It's about playing our game, putting a team away and finishing it." Anaheim is 1-5 in games decided past regulation, having led in four of those defeats." For 58 minutes, we were pretty solid whenever we had to be," coach Bruce Boudreau said. "They came in and found a way. It's not that it's them. It's giving up two goals in the last minute, and an overtime goal again. It's pretty frustrating." Vancouver (9-8-7) will be playing on the road for the 10th time in 13 games. NHL Hockey Handicappers. The Canucks have also been unfortunate beyon d regulation, with three of their last nine losses getting decided in that fashion, including a 3-2 shootout defeat at Dallas on Friday. Henrik Sedin forced overtime with a power-play goal with 4:10 remaining in the third period, but the Canucks surrendered two power-play goals in five opportunities." Five-on-five, I thought we deserved another point," Sedin said. "Special teams, I thought we didn't deserve anything." The Canucks' penalty killing has been abysmal over the last 12 games, as they've given up 14 goals on 44 opportunities. Best Sports Handicappers Free Picks. They had allowed three goals in 32 chances prior to that stretch. Free NHL Hockey Picks. They've scored on 11 of 37 man advantages in the past eight games, but Sedin's goal was the only one in seven chances against the Stars." Our ti ming is off (on the power play)," he told the team's official website. "We're not executing when we need to. You can talk about outworking the other team, but if you have an extra man out there, you got to be able to use the guys that are open. We had a tough time setting up. We stuck with it, but it wasn't good enough." The Ducks have gone 8 for 26 on the power play over the last 10 games, but are minus-9 in even-strength situations in that span and a league-worst minus-19 on the season. Vancouver is plus-5 on five-on-five. Both Sedins own seven-game point streaks, with Henrik recording three goals and seven assists in his and Daniel tallying six goals and six assists. Vancouver won 2-1 in a shootout at Anaheim on Oct. 12, their second straight victory in the series. The Canucks haven't won three consecutive meetings since Nov. 27-Dec. 30, 2007.

NBA Preview: Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings - 11/30/2015 - 10:00 PM EST

NBA Preview: Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings - Date: 11/30/2015 Time: 10:00 P.M. EST Venue: Sleep Train Arena   Rajon Rondo's short-lived stint with the Dallas Mavericks ended in ignominious fashion. Winning Sports Handicappers. The NBA assists leader will face the Mavericks for the first time since leaving the club Monday night at home for the Sacramento Kings, who are hoping DeMarcus Cousins returns to the lineup. Rondo was traded from Boston to Dallas on Dec. 28 in a move designed to help the Mavericks make a playoff push. It turned out to be a disaster, with the point guard never fitting into Rick Carlisle's system and serving a one-game suspension for a shouting match with the coach. Profitable NBA Basketball Handicappers. The Mavericks lost in the first round of the playoffs in five games to Houston. Rondo did not play in the final three of those due to a back injury the team said he did not disclose until he re-aggravated it in a los s in Game 2. Rondo averaged 6.5 assists in 46 games with Dallas compared to 10.8 in his first 22 contests with the Celtics last season. He's back to his usual level of production with a league-best 11.0 assists per game and NBA-high four triple-doubles with the Kings, whom he joined as a free agent in the offseason. Sacramento (6-12) has dropped six straight and 21 of 23 meetings with Dallas. Cousins could return from a three-game absence due to a lower back strain. He averages team highs of 27.9 points and 11.2 rebounds, and Sacramento is 1-7 in games he's missed." He's definitely an integral part to what we do," center Kosta Koufos said. "He's an All-Star, once he comes back we'll be clicking on all cylinders." Dallas (10-7) signed Deron Williams in the offseason to fill its point guard vacancy. Williams scored a season-high 22 points Saturday to help the Mavericks end a three-game slide with a 92-81 home win over Denver. After yielding 52 points in the first half, the Mavs outscored the Nuggets 25-5 in the third quarter.'' We finally played with a little more energy,'' Dirk Nowitzki said. ''Overall, I like how we worked for each other.'' The Mavs' two-game road trip concludes against Portland on Tuesday. Sports Picking Services. They went 0-3 on the trip that preceded Saturday's contest." We've got an unselfish crew, guys that wanna play with each other and veterans that have been around and have been in all sorts of situations and just want to make it work, want to play off each other and want to have some fun," Nowitzki said. "It's been a decent start, (though) the last three games were a little rough." The Kings were routed 120-101 on the road by Golden State on Saturday. Rudy Gay scored 20 points as he bounced back from s coring two on 1-of-13 shooting in Friday's 101-91 home defeat to Minnesota." We'll get back on the right track but right now, we've got to hopefully get healthy with Cous," coach George Karl said. "Once he gets in the lineup, I think we'll get our confidence in a good direction."

NBA Preview: Golden State Warriors vs. Utah Jazz - 11/30/2015 - 9:00 PM EST

NBA Preview: Golden State Warriors vs. Utah Jazz - Date: 11/30/2015 Time: 09:00 P.M. EST Venue: EnergySolutions Arena   A seven-game road trip may be the biggest challenge to the Golden State Warriors' NBA-record start to the season. Sports Betting Profit. That's exactly why they wanted Stephen Curry to be rested. Curry looks to help the Warriors improve to 19-0 and extend their winning streak to 23 regular-season games Monday night against the Utah Jazz, though they'll have to do so without Harrison Barnes. Golden State is outscoring opponents by an average of 16.0 points during its incredible season-opening winning streak. Profitable NBA Basketball Handicappers. The Warriors' 22-game run began April 9, and is tied with the 2007-08 Houston Rockets for the third-longest streak in NBA history. Golden State is about to undergo perhaps its toughest test yet, though it doesn't come against any particular opponent. Instead, it comes against the rigors of the first of two seven-game trips this season. Sports Handicapping Service Leads. This one includes roughly 7,378 miles with around 23 hours of flight time. With the Warriors typically winning easily, the team has taken extra precaution in giving the league's reigning MVP extra rest with this road trip looming. Curry didn't play in the fourth quarter for the fourth straight game in Saturday's 120-101 win over Sacramento. He went 4 for 7 from the floor and tied his season low of 19 points, well below his league-leading 31.9 per game." I'm sure Steph doesn't like it," interim coach Luke Walton said. "But the coaching staff and the training staff, we're thrilled to get him that rest." Curry averages 34.5 points in eight road games and has scored 34.3 over his last three visits to Utah. He had 32 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in the most rec ent Jan. 30, but that wasn't enough in a 110-100 loss - Golden State's only defeat in the last eight matchups. Draymond Green had seven points and five boards in that loss. Green has totaled 27 points, 22 assists and 21 rebounds with six blocks in the past two games, becoming the first Warrior since Wilt Chamberlain in 1964 to get back-to-back triple-doubles." He got a huge contract this summer and he came back a better player. He's playing at an All-Star level right now," Walton said. NBA Basketball Handicappers. The Warriors might need Green, Curry and Klay Thompson to do even more with one of their fellow starters out for at least the first three games of the trip. Barnes, who missed Saturday's win with a sprained left ankle, won't be re-evaluated until next week. Utah (8-7) is aiming for its first three-game winning streak of the season, falling short on three previous trie s. While Golden State is the league's highest scoring team at 115.8 points per game, the Jazz are among the best defensively. Sports Picks Free. Their 93.2 points per game against is among the lowest in the NBA, but they give up the fewest field-goal attempts at 75.6 per contest. Utah allowed 69 shots Saturday, winning 101-87 over New Orleans. Alec Burks chipped in with 21 points while making 9 of 14 from the floor, a tremendous improvement after he averaged 10.3 points and went 9 for 36 over the three previous games." The biggest thing with Alec, I keep emphasizing with him is his decisions," coach Quin Snyder said. "When he makes high-percentage decisions, he can shoot it, he can pass it, he can handle, he can finish. It's just a question of what is the defense giving?"The shoulder injury that ended Burks' season in December last season forced him to miss the last three meetings wi th Golden State. Gordon Hayward had 26 points, a career-high 15 rebounds and six assists against the Warriors on Jan. 30. He's averaging 22.8 points and has made 9 of 17 3-pointers over the past four games.

NCAAB Preview: Fresno State vs. Oregon - 11/30/2015 - 8:00 PM EST

NCAAB Preview: Fresno State vs. Oregon - Date: 11/30/2015 Time: 08:00 P.M. EST   Coach Dana Altman mainly relies on a six-man rotation to carry Oregon, with each player knowing their role in the offense could change from game to game. Sports Handicap. The 21st-ranked Ducks don't seem to mind. Oregon looks to move to 6-0 on Monday night when it hosts a Fresno State team off to its best start in nine years. Five players are averaging at least 12 points, and starting guard Casey Benson chips in 5.8 per game while acting as a floor general for a Ducks offense scoring 79.0 points per contest. Freshman Tyler Dorsey's 15.2 average leads the squad, but he's yet to attempt more than nine shots in a game. It was Dwayne Benjamin's turn to step up Wednesday, coming off the bench to match a career high with 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting in a 91-68 victory over Arkansas State. Chris Boucher had 17 points, nine rebounds and a school-record nine blocks, while Dorsey added 15 points and El gin Cook finished with 13. Dillon Brooks scored 26 points in a win over Valparaiso in Oregon's previous contest but finished with four Wednesday." We all know any given day it might not be your scoring day," said Benjamin, who went scoreless in 19 minutes against Valpo. "With our versatility, we can do a lot of things. If we're not scoring, do other things. We don't really worry about who's scoring. We worry about making plays for the team. I think that's the best thing about this group." Altman especially was impressed with the effort from Boucher, a 6-foot-10 junior college transfer who is still adjusting to the more physical nature of Division I. He's shooting 57.9 percent and ranks among the nation's leaders with 21 blocks.'' He is fearless,'' Altman said. ''His length is unique. He can get shots from a long way away and he's not afraid to go after them.'' Fresno State has blocked only 23 shots as a team while going 5-0, its best start since winning its first seven of 2006-07. Cezar Guerrero scored 20 points and Marvelle Harris added 17 in Friday's 80-59 rout of Delaware State. Guerrero hit 5 of 9 from the field and has made 13 of 21 from 3-point range over his last three." He's been in the gym and put time in," coach Rodney Terry said of Guerrero, who is shooting 52.5 percent from the floor after not hitting better than 43.5 percent over his first three seasons. "I said to the guys, 'You're going to get what you invest in this game. If you invest in the game and you work then you'll see positive results.' Cezar has seen that the last couple of games, the ball going through the net because he's put the time in." Fresno State has scored at least 78 points in each of its last four, but it could face a tougher test against a Ducks team allowing 62.6 per game while holding opponents to 38.0 percent from the field.& quot; They're obviously a high level opponent for us and we know we have our work cut out for us," Terry said. "Like I tell these guys right now, we have faceless opponents. So much about this time of the year is us getting better, on both ends of the floor." Oregon has won all four meetings since Fresno State's last victory in the series in 1995.

NBA Preview: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Atlanta Hawks - 11/30/2015 - 8:00 PM EST

NBA Preview: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Atlanta Hawks - Date: 11/30/2015 Time: 08:00 P.M. EST Venue: Philips Arena   If Kevin Durant's importance to the Oklahoma City Thunder wasn't evident last year, he's provided a few more reminders since returning from his latest injury. As Durant and the Thunder look to extend an outstanding run, the Atlanta Hawks continue their search for consistency when the teams meet Monday night. Somewhat overshadowed by the Golden State Warriors' remarkable start and Stephen Curry's scoring exploits, Durant has more quietly compiled numbers comparable or exceeding to those from his 2013-14 MVP campaign. Sports Free Picks. The star forward is shooting a torrid 47.1 percent from 3-point range and 52.4 overall in averaging 28.4 points through 11 games. Durant has been particularly hot since coming back from a hamstring injury that sidelined him for six games, averaging 30.3 points on 58.5 percent shooting in three Thunder wins. He totaled 34 along with a season-high 13 rebounds as Oklahoma City (11-6) recorded its fourth consecutive victory with Friday's 103-87 decision over Detroit." I was feeding off the energy of the crowd and the teammates," he said. "In single coverage I feel like I can score on anybody. I was aggressive." After going 27-28 in games Durant missed in 2014-15, the Thunder are 8-3 with him in the lineup this season. Durant's performance and the Thunder's dominance on the glass offset an off night from Russell Westbrook, held to a season-low 14 points while committing 11 turnovers. Oklahoma City, which leads the NBA in rebounding margin (plus-7.7), owned a 58-38 advantage on the glass and held league rebounding leader Andre Drummond to seven. Free NBA Basketball Picks. The Thunder's prowess in that area could present problems for the Hawks' relatively small lineup. Atlanta (11-8) ranks near t he bottom of the league with a minus-3.7 rebounding margin and is 5-7 when finishing with an even or negative differential. Atlanta was outrebounded 49-43 by San Antonio on Saturday, though its 108-88 defeat to the formidable Spurs was more a result of poor shooting. Sports Handicapper Tracker. The Hawks were 6 of 26 on 3-pointers while matching their lowest scoring output of the season, which came one night after they went 14 of 39 from beyond the arc in a 116-101 win at Memphis.'' There is really not much positive from us,'' center Al Horford said of Saturday's outcome. ''For us as a team, the best thing is to put this behind us.'' The Hawks did force 16 Spurs turnovers and are averaging 20.9 points per game off opponent's miscues, second-best in the NBA. Oklahoma City's 17.1 giveaways per game is among the league's worst marks. Paul Millsap ranks among the league l eaders with 37 steals and is averaging 19.5 points and 10.3 rebounds over his last four, though the forward was limited to a season-low eight points by San Antonio. Millsap had 22 points and 10 rebounds in a 103-93 victory over the Thunder at Philips Arena on Jan. 23, Atlanta's lone win in the last five matchups. Westbrook amassed a 36-point, 14-assist, 10-rebound triple-double to lead Oklahoma City to a 123-115 home triumph on March 20. Profitable NBA Basketball Handicappers. The Thunder have won nine of 12 in Atlanta and haven't dropped consecutive road games to the Hawks since 1993-94 when the franchise was based in Seattle.

NBA Preview: Denver Nuggets vs. Milwaukee Bucks - 11/30/2015 - 8:00 PM EST

NBA Preview: Denver Nuggets vs. Milwaukee Bucks - Date: 11/30/2015 Time: 08:00 P.M. EST Venue: BMO Harris Bradley Center   The Milwaukee Bucks made lineup changes in order to alleviate their defensive woes, though it didn't prevent a sixth loss in seven games. Coach Jason Kidd has not decided whether he will stick with a defensive-minded lineup when the Bucks try to hand the visiting Denver Nuggets a seventh straight loss Monday night. Kidd opted to use Michael Carter-Williams and Jabari Parker off the bench for the first time in Sunday's 87-82 defeat at Charlotte, giving O. J. Mayo his first start and Jerryd Bayless his first in his last six games. Handicappers Free Picks. The moves were made because Milwaukee (6-11) allows 109.0 points per 48 minutes for the league's worst mark. Free NBA Basketball Picks. They changes proved very successful, as the Bucks yielded a point total that matched their second-lowest and limited the Hornets to 38.6 percent for their second-best mark. Milwaukee held Charlotte to 37.5 percent shooting in the first quarter in building a six-point lead.'' I thought the lineup switch got us off to a really good start,'' said Kidd, who said he will discuss with his staff what lineup to use Monday. ''Defensively, guys were into it. We got a lot of deflections. We had multiple shooters on the floor.'' Milwaukee outscored Charlotte in every quarter except the second, a period that proved decisive as the Hornets held a 23-9 edge." The effort was there, the energy was there, the understanding is you gotta play four quarters and we just came up short in one of them," Kidd said. One horrific quarter was an issue for Denver (6-11) in Saturday's 92-81 loss at Dallas. Handicapper Return on Investment. The Nuggets were outscored 25-5 in the third after going into halftime up by four ." Our challenge is to play for 48 minutes and we've been unable to do so lately," coach Michael Malone said. "We go to Milwaukee and we gotta try to get that losing streak over by getting a win and to stop beating yourself on the road." The Nuggets haven't lost seven in a row since Jan. 16-26." I temper my frustration with the understanding that we are a very young team," Malone said. "When we start our normal lineup, we have a 19-year-old, a 20-year-old and a 21-year-old so being young in the Western Conference makes it difficult. So it is frustrating, nobody likes to lose, we all hate to lose but you lose six games in a row, that gets old after a while." The 21-year-old player in question is second-year guard Gary Harris, who started the first 16 games before sitting out Saturday with a concussion. Randy Foye took his place in the lineup. Denver welcomed back Kenneth Faried, who had 10 points and five rebounds in 14 minutes after missing three games with a sprained ankle. Faried scored on a putback of Danilo Gallinari's missed shot for the winning basket in Denver's 103-102 home victory over Milwaukee on Nov. 11. Gallinari scored 25 in the Nuggets' 10th victory in 11 games against the Bucks. Bayless led Milwaukee with 22 points and Greg Monroe had 18 and 10 rebounds. Carter-Williams and Parker missed the contest due to injuries.

NBA Preview: Houston Rockets vs. Detroit Pistons - 11/30/2015 - 7:30 PM EST

NBA Preview: Houston Rockets vs. Detroit Pistons - Date: 11/30/2015 Time: 07:30 P.M. EST Venue: The Palace of Auburn Hills   Whether or not there was a rift between James Harden and former Houston coach Kevin McHale, Harden seemed to take it upon himself to will the Rockets to victory even more so once interim boss J. B. Bickerstaff took over. He finally found out how nice it can be when he gets some help from his teammates. Sports Handicapping Software. The Rockets seek a third consecutive victory when they visit the slumping Detroit Pistons on Monday night. Harden averaged 27.3 points but shot just 37.2 percent during Houston's 4-7 start before McHale was fired Nov. 18, ending a reportedly contentious relationship and leading to McHale's wife taking jabs at Harden through social media. It didn't take long for Harden to move on, scoring 45 points in a win over Portland hours after McHale was let go. It was the first of three 40-point performances during the Rockets' 3-3 stretch that includes a 50-point effort in Fri day's 116-114 win over Philadelphia. Harden, averaging 34.5 points and shooting 44.6 percent under Bickerstaff, had an off night Sunday, going 10 of 28 from the field and missing all seven 3-point attempts while scoring 26. Four others scored in double figures, though, to help Houston (7-10) beat New York 116-111 in overtime. NBA Basketball Handicappers. The Rockets trailed by 14 in the fourth quarter, but Marcus Thornton hit a 3-pointer with 32 seconds left in regulation to help Houston get it to the extra session. Free Pick. Thornton and Clint Capela (11 rebounds) scored 18 points apiece while Trevor Ariza added 16 and Dwight Howard finished with 14. It marked Harden's lowest point total in a Houston victory.'' It was a lesson in perseverance,'' Bickerstaff said. ''We got down, but we didn't give in. It is a credit to our guys' mental toughness and fortitude.'' Houston has won eight of the last nine meetings with Detroit after Harden finished with 38 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists in a 103-93 victory March 6. Free NBA Basketball Picks. The Pistons (8-9) head into this meeting having lost four of five after falling 87-83 at Brooklyn on Sunday. Best Sports Picks Service. They've been woeful offensively over their last four, shooting 36.1 percent after making 34 of 101 from the field against the Nets. Profitable NBA Basketball Handicappers. That performance dropped Detroit to the bottom of the NBA in field-goal percentage at 40.8. Andre Drummond had his 15th double-double with 20 points and 18 rebounds, while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope finished w ith 21 points. Reggie Jackson finished 4 of 20 from the field.'' I think what it really came down to is we were mentally very weak,'' coach Stan Van Gundy said. ''We got very frustrated, you know, missing shots, thinking we're getting fouled. It affected our defense. I thought we took several bad shots in the fourth quarter just trying to draw fouls instead of trying to get good shots. I just didn't think we played very smart, poised basketball and that was disappointing.'' The Pistons have fallen off since a 5-1 start as they continue to play without guard Brandon Jennings, who is still recovering from a torn left Achilles suffered in January.'' I like the guys we have. I like the character of our team. I like the fit of our team," Van Gundy said. "We've just got to keep working to improve on both ends and gain experience, both together and individually.''

NBA Preview: Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat - 11/30/2015 - 7:30 PM EST

NBA Preview: Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat - Date: 11/30/2015 Time: 07:30 P.M. EST Venue: AmericanAirlines Arena   Unless Luol Deng has a very good morning, the Miami Heat will start Gerald Green in his place again. After turning in his best performance of the season, Green is expected to continue filling in for the injured Deng as the Heat host the Boston Celtics on Monday night. Deng has missed two games with a strained left hamstring, and he's not expected to return yet." I hope that I magically wake up and I feel great," said Deng, who is averaging 10.3 points. Barring that, Green will get a third straight start. He earned it after scoring a season-high 25 points while hitting 8 of 14 from the floor in Friday's 97-78 win at New York. He was also effective defending Carmelo Anthony, who missed his final eight shots and finished with 11 points. Deng wasn't surprised by Green's defensive effort." We know Gerald can do that," he said. "Any time you can put him out there and he can get you 20. He's a great scorer. He gives us a different look. We said it from the start that this is a deep team. It's good that when guys are out or not playing great that we got guys who are ready to step up." That hasn't always been the case with Green, who is on his eighth team since being drafted 18th overall by Boston in 2005. He's missed six games this season after being hospitalized following an incident at his apartment. He was suspended by the Heat (10-5) for two of those for conduct detrimental to the team." What I do have to do, which is a requirement to wear this jersey, is to go out there and keep playing defense and that's what I'm going to do," Green said. Todays Free Sports Picks. That attitude fits in with Miami yielding an Eastern Conference-best 91.7 points per game, a big reason the team is atop the Southeast Division and 8-2 at home. Dwyane Wade is averaging 22.3 points during the Heat's three-game home winning streak. He scored 34 while connecting on 13 of 23 from the field, but that wasn't enough in a 100-90 home loss to the Celtics (9-8) on March 9. Boston is trying to avoid its first four-game road losing streak since Dec. 21-Jan. 3. Free NBA Basketball Picks. The Celtics are surrendering an average of 114.0 points and 51.6 percent shooting - 40.6 from long range - over the last three games, and they're 0-7 overall when opponents reach the century mark. After allowing a total of 158 points in home wins over Philadelphia and Washington, Boston fell apart in Sunday's opener of this five-game trip. Top Rated Sports Handicappers. The team shot 40.9 percent from the field and 18.5 from beyond the arc while getting outrebounded 54-34 in a 110-91 loss at Orlando." It's not just one guy, all five guys on the cour t were lacking," said forward Jae Crowder, who had 12 points. "They came up with every loose ball and every offensive rebound they got, they scored on or so it seemed. We have to get better on that." Isaiah Thomas leads Boston with 21.2 points per game, but he's totaled 34 while making 10 of 29 from the floor over the last two on the road. Profitable NBA Basketball Handicappers. The guard scored 25 points at Miami in March but only mustered four in a 93-86 home defeat later that month.

NCAAB Preview: Illinois State vs. Kentucky - Date: 11/30/2015 Time: 07:00 P.M. EST   Kentucky's latest group of freshmen phenoms has answered every challenge it's faced thus far. A new one may be in store for the next game. Sports Handicapper Records. The top-ranked Wildcats return home Monday night to face Illinois State with the possibility of Tyler Ulis sitting out after hyperextending his right elbow in the last contest. Ulis missed the second half of Friday's 84-63 victory over South Florida in the HoopHall Miami Invitational. Profitable NCAAB College Basketball Handicappers. The sophomore point guard, averaging 13.2 points, 4.3 assists and 1.5 steals, will be a game-time decision." If we have to (sit him) we will," coach John Calipari said. "You're concerned about his health. Right now, it's just early. We haven't practiced. He won't practice (Sunday) just for the fact that I don't want to have him banged up in a practice." Ulis was removed shortly after his 3-pointer ignited a 15-0 run that staked Kentucky (6-0) to a 42-21 halftime lead. Football Tipsters. The Wildcats and Bulls played to a 42-all tie following the intermission." They couldn't sustain it, and that's what Tyler does," Calipari said. "Tyler just keeps coming and he does not stop and he's not gonna make mistakes to let another team get back in the game. NCAAB College Basketball Handicappers. That's the difference and that's the experience." Calipari said junior defensive specialist Dominique Hawkins would slot into the starting lineup should Ulis be held out. Free Boxing Picks. The coach also expressed concern over facing Illinois State (3-4), which led No. 2 Maryland by two with under six minutes left Tuesday before the Terrapins closed the game on a 21-8 spurt to win 77-66." We're playing a good team. Illinois State. I watched their Maryland game. Free NCAAB College Basketball Picks. They had Maryland beat. They've got a quick guard, (Paris) Lee. I'm not sure what we'll be able to do with him. They've got a kid, (DeVaughn Akoon-) Purcell, that's scoring 16, 17 a game." Will be a tough matchup for us depending on how we play. They've got some veteran guys." Illinois State followed up the loss to the Terps by falling 71-60 to TCU on Wednesday in its finale of the Cancun Challenge, then defeated Division II Quincy 73-63 on Friday. Akoon-Purcell, a preseason all-MVC selection, had 18 points and five assists and leads the Redbirds at 15.9 p oints per game. Kentucky overcame Ulis' absence behind strong efforts from three of its heralded freshmen. Jamal Murray scored a season-high 21 points, Skal Labissiere had 17 and Charles Matthews took advantage of an expanded role by contributing 11 points in 24 minutes for the Wildcats, winners of 37 straight in the regular season. Kentucky puts a 24-game winning streak at Rupp Arena on the line in its first meeting with Illinois State, 8-1 all-time against current Southeastern Conference members. The Redbirds, though, have lost eight of nine against ranked opponents. Illinois State has faced a No. 1 team once previously, losing 97-81 at DePaul on March 1, 1980.
